Never ever would I buy any insurance from AXA. I was a passenger in a car. It was hit from the side. I ended up in the hospital. I could not get pre-authorisation whilst on a stretcher. The next day talked to AXA and explained everything. They promised to pay. I even got a fax sent to the two hospitals I had to attend to say they would pay. 12 months later they had not paid and I had to fight a legal case to get them to pay. On the eve of that case, they paid. I am a Barrister of law. What that company put me through, could be unbearable for most people with a non-legal background. Since that day, I avoid any policy underwritten by AXA. We have had an excellent experience with Allianz. Not the cheapest but they could not have been better when we went to Bumrungrad in Bangkok. They followed up and made sure all was okay, for weeks after.
Look at IP6, Insitol 12,000mg and Red Yeast Rice. This combination took both my cholesterol and BP to normal levels. You need to take Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium ie electrolytes with IP6. Do some research on the power of these supplements.
They are trying to con you. There was a story on a FB forum whereby a woman was refused entry at the Cambodian border, as she could not show 20,000 Bhat. They wanted to see the cash. No Thai bank account was required. This was an extreme case and was caused by her doing a 24 hour visa run. You do not need a Thai Bank account. When we did the Visa in Hanoi, they required bank statements in £'s. we included them in the application. They were actually more interested in seeing our itinerary and which hotels we were going to stay in and what we wanted to see. So move on and find another agency.
as a Diamomd HH member, it tells you everything that we are now in the Sheraton Orchid just across the river. We have stayed in Hilton's most nights on a 7-month Asia tour and the Millenium was one of the weakest.
We are staying on the riverfront at the Sheraton. We stayed 2 weeks at the Hilton Millenium in May. If you take the river boats up and down the river you can get to temples, AsiaTech, and the BTS line. There is life in the area just past Saphan Taksin. The streets have night markets, food stalls etc. For more, you need to get on the BTS line and go into the city, but use the river boats to visit the many places that are river accessible.
