Hi group, after 15 yrs in the kingdom, now, due to ill health, I think I may have to go back to the UK, any help/ ideas (especially doctor/hospital) and any problems that I can expect to encounter when I get back? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone!

Dreaming of a relocation from Australia to Thailand. Did you guys use a migration agent to work through the best option for visa (one that allows work) or did you go solo?

Also, anyone with a child with ADHD or with ADHD themselves here? What’s the situation with medical and other support in the land of smiles? Is that a concern for the immigration services?

Kap khun ka! 🙏

If already asked, sorry.

I live battambang and i can cross 2 x year from cambodia to thailand in poipet aranyaprathet with my Belgian pasport. As i am cardiac patient i want to be able to go any time needed to thai hospital in aranyaprathet or even bangkok as we not have any option for cardiac.medical care in battambang.

Going to phnom penh takes 5 hours. Going to siem reap 3 hours...poipet is 90 minutes and by far best option

I not have any intention to go and live in thailand, i just want to be sure that i can go into thailand over land for medical care in case of need without having to go to phnom penh for a visa after i used my 2 crossings allowed.

Thanks.in advance for your appreciated advise

Relocation to Thailand.

Currently in Philippines. Have previously been in Vietnam for four years.

Can anyone recommend areas for me to investigate please?

Fair sized city with good medical within an hour’s drive.

High level of English spoken.

Low level of sex for sale vibe.

Entertaining

Low cost of living.

Expat community

Places that didn’t work for me BKK, Phuket, Pattaya and to a lesser extent Chiang Mai - actually CM is a reasonable possibility unless you’ve got better ideas 🤷‍♂️

Thank you 🙏

Hi. I am looking at moving to Thailand from Vietnam and obviously need health insurance but I take medication for blood pressure and cholesterol and am 67. Do you know of any insurance company that is liable to insure me to satisfy retirement visa requirements
