Any recommendations for health insurance cover in Thailand for family? 2A 2K

friends living in thailand on a DTV what kind of health insurence do you have? ive been in thailand for half a year now and so far ive been going on travel insurence but i want to move to a cheaper local health insurence. any suggestions ?

What is the best option for a health insurance in thailand on a DTV? Especially for someone taking place in many physical activites which need to be covered too.

We are not sure when but my husband and I want to move to Thailand, his homeland. I have Epilepsy and I have tried Google with no luck in trying to find one and research their qualifications and recommendations are greatly appreciated

Can someone please suggest some medical insurance companies for the visa that are accepted by the Thai embassy? And do I need the attached document from the embassy that they will fill out?

Can anyone recommend a good long-term health insurance for the multi Thai DTV Visa?

Also, can people please tell me roughly how much they pay because I’ve got quotes that are super super high and just wasn’t expecting it to be that much money

I do also need to be covered for obviously the Muay Thai and also diving

Hi DTV Group. My wife and I received our DTV visa 4 months ago. As we all know, the DTV Visa is not a typical tourist visa, as it allows us to stay in the country for up to 180 days before undergoing a visa run, and 90-day check-ins with immigration. My question is, for those of us who spend six months in Thailand before doing a Visa run, what kind of medical insurance is suitable for someone living in Thailand with a DTV Visa?

As I apply for a retirement visa I understand that the cost of the health insurance the Thai embassy want is very high. Something between 60000 Bhat to 80000 Bhat yearly.

Is that so?

Do you have maybe other options?

Hello all,

After 18 months in Thailand on exemptions and extensions I'm feeling great being back in on the DTV. I will need to transition from travel insurance to proper expat health insurance in September. How much is this going to cost me? My main priority is direct billing to Bangkok Hospital. I'd appreciate any pointers as I continue my research. Curious what products other DTV folks have selected.
