I am with Pacific cross, had cataract surgery about 6 months ago they paid for everything except the lens as it's classed as artificial???. The only thing that wasn't good was the hospital at first they quoted me a price then I said ok my health insurance will pay and gave them my card then funny old thing the price increase from 60,000 up to I think it was around 80,000. But then the insurance company had a talk with them and it went back down to 60,000. I had to pay the first 40,000 in any year so I had to pay 40,000. I had to pay and claim back the first fee then the next few visits the insurance company paid then the last visit I had to pay again and claim all the fees I paid this was the hospital not Pacific cross fault

Ref life insurance I am from the UK and I had a life insurance policy for years. But when I moved out here I took out a new insurance just before coming out here, I explained to the Brooker that I am in the UK for 2 more months then moving full time to Thailand he understood that and said that's ok so I bought the insurance. A little bit later I was talking with a financial advisor out here and I had to tell him my life store so to speak and life insurance was mentioned. He said did I take it in the UK (Yes) he said it'll not be worth anything and they not pay out as you are now living full time away from the UK. I contacted the insurance company (can't remember who) and they said that it shouldn't have been sold to you in the first place, and they refunded me all the money. So I would ask you insurance in the UK or wherever if you take it out in that country is it valid in Thailand.

this how i think it should be, the only reason at the moment I have 2 Thai Sims is it was cheaper to buy another SIM for just internet and the original 1 is mainly due to all contracts (Banks) in Thailand have that number and the UK SIM is OTP

This all depends on if you need to get txt messages from home country, I have 2 phones 1 phone has esim and SIM card both Thai and other phone has UK SIM in it just for messages that I need for banking and 2 forms of security. Some phones you can have more than 1 esim, my phone only allows esim and SIM
