Is anyone having problems transferring money to kasikorn bank this week. I send money there regularly using wise but for some reason this time the bank says it hasn't arrived although I had confirmation it had from wise

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users are experiencing mixed results when transferring money to Kasikorn Bank via Wise this week. While some confirm successful and instant transfers, others report delays, possibly linked to a recent bank outage. Comments suggest that transaction speed may vary due to factors such as weekends, holidays, and amounts transferred. Overall, frustrations exist, but many are still able to transfer funds successfully.
It all depends on the amount and the time in your country you make the transaction.
For BKK bank it csn be different to transfer 50.000 THB (next day) or 49.999 THB (within seconds)
WISE has changed policy and delays the transfers to make some money

It comes via Bangkok clearing bank. My pension always arrives in my Kasikorn Bank a couple of day after leaving UK. I set up an e-mail notification that informs the money is in mt local bank

I send money from my bank in the states to my bank in Thailand monthly.
It used to be within seconds, then sometimes it takes 6 hours, if it’s a weekend or holiday , it’s multiple days.

My observations are that Bangkok Bank does not deposit the funds into your account until after 2pm the next business day. This is different from last year when the funds went in instantly.
KBank, however, processes the funds straight away.
The 2pm deposits at Bangkok Bank existed even 3 years ago. One reason is if you need the transfer to show up as international. Your transfers to KBank are local transfers from a Wise account at KBank. That's the reason they are fast.

I send regularly from wise to Kasikorn, normally it’s instant but the last few times have been 24hrs

Wise can only confirm the money was transferred, not that it was received, even if it should have happened instantly because of being a local transfer.
