Hello. Just to clarify for my mind. Do I have to renew my retirement visa before the 15th July. Just that it's got a stamp from the last one of 19th June 2024 so I am thinking I must have have a spare month on my last visa that is carried over. All help is much appreciated.

That is very correct Robert, but like most questions on this group if you ask a question you will get sound advice, but as you say a phone call will give me the right answer. So what is the point in this group then if you ask a question and then you get told to phone the office up

you can apply for the next "1-year Extension of the Stay Permit based on Retirement" from up to 30 days before your current 1-year extension will expire. That would be from 16th of June 2024 onward. You next 1-year retirement extension will be issued for another year, starting on July 16th.
Will do in the next week just need to take some mug shots of me around the house, that's what they want and a bank statement for the 12 months and signed paper from the bank.

Good idea to get on it a wee bit early in case there is something missing.

I always renew a month before expiry (in case rules change) and the new visa is 12 months from expiry of previous. Been doing this since 2008
, My Non Imm-O visa will expire on 6 September. I obtained that visa from my country several times and last year for the first time extension in BKK. However, what is the deadline for me to apply for a one year extension again? Is it 3 weeks or one month before the expiry date? Thanks for your advice in advance.
, sorry. You mean not before 45 days. I want to know the deadline not after the date to apply, I mean the latest date from the date of expiry. Thank you so much.
That’s for the initial Non O visa. That needs those number of days to convert. You can extend an extension up to the actual due date but actually 5th for you.
, how is it possible? They stamp on the extension application submission date to contact after 20 days for processing and decision making. So, they want to apply at least 21 or 30 days ( I can't remember clearly) before the extension expiry date. I am asking regarding a Non Imm-O ( spouse) visa. Thank you.
I’ve extended a few time over the years. Extending after the first time takes about 10 minutes work for the officer. You wait much longer in line than the actual work ;)
That’s why you can do it on the last day (which is not advised if you’re not 100% prepared).
I guess you don't even have something which is called a "visa". You are on a stay permit, not on a visa. You most probably are on an "1-year extended stay permit based on being married to a Thai wife". You can apply for the next 1-year extension of the stay permit, from up to 30 days before your current extended stay permit expires (on some Immigration from up to 45 days). The Extension will be issued for 4 weeks"under consideration". Within this period, Immigration is going to visit you and your wife at home, and they will ask your neighbours to make sure that your marriage is for real
