You can leave after that date to as Long as you have ฿500 per day of overstay and you don’t get caught by the police…but if you want to play it safe you can leave up to 2359 of the day your stamp expires and 9 out of 10 times the immigration officers will look the other way if you pass through immigration at like 0030-0200 on the next day for your departure flight

to someone that has a residency in a country other than their passport country it matters and if they read this comment then they would be bummed out...so yes words do matter especially when it comes to visa issues....these groups get looked at by a Wide breadth of individuals some of whom don't comment
