I am a bit confused , does children under 10years old need an extension visa ? What are the consequences ? Can they re enter the country later ? Can it impact the tourist visa in an other country if they overstay ? Thank you 🙏

Need Visa Advice:

My 16yo daughter will be coming to Thailand for a 90 day contract. I will be accompanying her. Her visa will be a work visa good for 90 days but I was thinking I would have to get a tourist visa and then extend it. I called the Embassy today and she said I should apply for a Non Immigrant O visa since I will need to come to chaperone my daughter. When I looked up the O visa it didn't sound like it would work for me.

I'm worried because I think I need to book our return flight in advance and if my visa was only 45 days then the return flight would be different for both of us. Our goal is to stay about 2 weeks after her contract and travel. So we will need to find a way to extend a 90 day visa for 2 weeks. I heard there was a daily fine/fee we could pay for going over our visa but I can't find any info on that.

ANy help on what I should do to make this easier on me would be great. I think the retirement visa is not really for me since I really only need to be there for 100 days or so. I've read a bunch but still feel clueless on how to make this happen.

My parents are visiting us from the US and got a 30 day visa but are actually staying 37 days. We thought it would be simple enough to extend it a week but it’s actually becoming quite complicated. They are flying to Chiang Mai on Sunday which is the day their visa expires and it looks like we aren’t going to be able to get the extension approved before then. Is this something they can do at the airport? What are the consequences if their tourist visa lapses before we get it figured out? Any tips on getting the extension? I have a 3 week old baby and feel like my head is spinning trying to figure this out!
