Out of interest is HCM just as easy as Savannakhet? Could I do it alone? I could make use of all my air miles to go there as it is much easier than driving to Savannakhet for a couple of years before I go for the extension.

In Oz they tax you if paid in Oz and work abroad and non res? I am UK non res paid in uk and dont pay tax not even on rented house as it is below the tax free allowance allowance.
