TLDR : Answer Summary
When facing a long wait at Thai immigration, especially with a substantial queue like 120 people, it's crucial to be prepared for delays. Community experiences indicate that wait times can extend from hours to over five, particularly when there's a lunch break involved. Suggestions for improvement include better staffing, staggered lunch breaks, and more efficient customer service systems, such as text alerts for imminent service. Overall, patience is essential, and visitors should be aware that delays are common in such situations.
, it is I agree :/ , BUT I think half their staff is at a training event for a week or two

Nope, they don't. Believe me if you have a queue number you'll get served today. You might not get out of there until 7:30PM or so BUT you will served.
It's like that every monday & friday and it's worse today because yesterday was a holiday.

You will wait or go home. I showed once about an hour after opening. Waited until lunch time.. The called the number just before mine.. My number was to be next - then they break for lunch. What is normally a half day errand became a full day errand.
