Hi there a friend of mine from Honduras has a ticked for Monday 7 am from Mumbai to Bangkok Thailand, she has not yet received her visa but a bit nervous because if she does not have by then, she will not be able to board the plane to Bangkok, is there a way to get any customer service or emergency visa over the weekend ?
Any good Muay Thai gym recommendations that can supoort DTV package? That at least have the attitude that they are providing services to the customers and know that they are making a living with it. Tired of unprofessional and disrespectful ones.
The closing chapter on my Frozen account with Bangkok Bank. Yesterday I went back at the 11AM opening of my Bangkok Bank branch airport Central Chiang Mai and waited about 5 minutes before I was called on. The staff had more than doubled from 3 weeks ago. I had provided all of the documentation requested during my last visit including passport, year lease, bank book, and Thailand driver's license. I was promised that the head office would call me to let me know the status of my reopening which did not happen, so I came back in to find out what was going on. Interesting that the original copies of my reopening paperwork were in an easily accessible location, a nod to those who look at BB branches as individual franchises. It was a bit of a hostile atmosphere dominated by older farangs like myself, some yelling thinking that it would help the process. I chose the tact of quiet cooperation and after about 20 minutes multiple ladies had worked on the reopening which happened. No additional documentation, the dreaded certification of my passport by my embassy consulate was not asked for and I verified my account was open before I left. Done.
Any updates on Bangkok Bank? Anyone successfully get their account unfrozen? I’m still dumbfounded, it’s almost been a month and ZERO updates. No one’s talking about it, no official statement from the bank, this is insanity.
Are they allowing you to close the account and withdrawal your money? What are the options here because this is getting ridiculous
Hi folks, I have a question about Bangkok Bank😅. I haven't received any communication either on the app or via email or text stating that my account is locked, but I'm unable to make transfers or top up my mobile service. Although I can still receive money into the account, I'm unsure if it's locked or temporary. Has anyone experienced this?
Just to share and rant. On 27 May 2025, i went to the Bangkok Bank branch where I opened my account to update my personal details, re-submit all the required documents/passport/Thai driver’s licence and re-signed the forms as before. Task completed.
On 16 July, Bangkok bank app got locked so I went to Central Rama9 to update my personal information with AIS then I went to the Bangkok Bank branch upstairs to update my personal details again with the AIS receipt for verification to unlock the app. Task completed. App was unlocked after 5pm same day.
Tonight I checked the Bangkok Bank app and saw this message to visit the branch where I opened my account within 30 days. AGAIN 🤦🏻♂️ I think Bangkok Bank doesn’t understand what is customer service and support. GOOD GRIEF 🙄
Among the health insurance brokers operating in Thailand, such as I-Brokers, Pacific Prime, etc.. Which one do you think is the largest and most reliable, with excellent after-sales service, able to support the customer in case of problems with the insurance?
Has anyone here worked remotely from Thailand (e.g. Bangkok) as a call center or customer service agent for a company based outside of Thailand for example, in Germany?

How was the latency or delay when using VoIP tools (e.g. Aircall, RingCentral, Zendesk)?
Did you use a VPN, and if so, did it affect performance?
Were there any noticeable issues when talking to clients or customers in Europe?
