I booked a flight four weeks in advance of the email and got approved about 5 days after I gave them my e ticket and I changed my flights forward for a small fee

Did the same got remote worker status with rental income and online work. No income from online work but I have a professional website, strong monthly pension income, rental income and I way exceeded the savings requirements. I’ll be 51 when this DTV expires so I’ll switch to a retirement visa then

I told them my tax return wasn’t due till April 2026 and gave them my HMRC self assessment letter with unique tax payer reference number and they were happy with that and I far exceeded the 500K savings

hope you get the magic email soon Sara fingers crossed 🤞 I applied 28th of October first application rejected for a name mismatch had to pay again did so immediately submitted everything few extra requests back and forth and I got approved on 17th of November so about three weeks
