Hey, all! I am finishing my visa application (DTV) and am on the last page. Just had a few questions before I submit; 1 & 2 seem pretty straightforward. 3, are they asking for my current US address, like a bill addressed to me? Not sure what they’re askin’ for. 4; can this be my US account, or do I need a Thai banking account? I do have a Wise account, that I could transfer funds into, however I’d prefer to keep it in my US account. 5; I do have a letter from a Muay Thai gym, however, it is 6 photos, and the maximum picture size can be no larger than 3MB. I have a file compressor, but I’m not sure which of the 6 files to upload.

I leave on the 22nd, for Pattaya. Hope this is enough time.

Thanks in advance!

1. Biodata page of passport or travel document

2. Photograph taken within the last 6 months

3. Document indicating current location

4. Financial evidence: amount no less than 500,000THB

5. Proof of activity to attend the activity or letter of appointment from hospital/medical center

Hello

I am currently applying for the DTV visa from South Korea and have received an additional document request: "Proof of Accommodation in Thailand: Lease Agreement or Invitation letter to the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul. (Typed with sponsor’s signature including reason, period, pp no) to certify your stay (Upload Sponsor's PP and ID copy, etc)"

Since this visa cannot be applied for from within Thailand, how is it possible to submit a Lease Agreement? It is unrealistic to sign a rental contract online without even seeing the place.

Has anyone else encountered this request? If so, I would appreciate it if you could share how you resolved this issue. Thank you.

Report on Applying for FOR RETIREMENT PURPOSES - 50 YEARS OLD (NON-O) at Changwattana 4/4/2023

* Prepared everything exactly as stated on the attached PDF.

* Got my q ticket at 1pm and was served at 3.30pm.

* I made the 800K baht deposit using Wise last month directly to Bangkok Bank from my bank in Australia. Made 1 single transfer of 800K and it arrived 2 days later by the time they stated in the confirmation.

* I went to Bangkok Bank downstairs while immigration is closed for lunch (from 12 - 1pm) and got the letter -> “Present passbook and deposit certificate from banks in Thailand (in Thai language (Attention: Immigration Commissioner))”. Took 5 mins and cost 100 Baht.

After presenting all the docs was shown a stamp which said :-

* You have 90 days Visa (NON-O-Retirement) We stamp On 20 APR 2023

* Don't leave of Thailand before stamp visa 20 APR 2023,

* Keep money in bank until you have 1 year visa

* After 60 days start count today" 4 APR 2023 you can summit 1 year visa at counter L

* Before leave of Thailand you must summit Re-Entry permit for keep visa

They said someone from immigration might call me to do a house visit prior to the 20 April. On 20th April I need to go back to Changwattana and get the 90 day stamp.

Hello. My son is on a Ed visa with a international school, me a non-O (based on being a guardian of a child in school here)

My visa expires in 6 days, I've been asking the school for the documents and they have just told me (with 7 days notice of my visa expiring) that I need to pay up front for the school year, despite being told for months I can pay monthly.

Anyway, I don't have this money at this short notice and be able to have the seasoned funds in a Thai account.

So anyone know my options here? It seems like getting the Ed visa is impossible with their new policy's and the lack of time. Can I get a covid extension and get the ed visa at a later date?

Can I ask what people's plans are for after the covid extension? Do you think there will be a way to extend it again somehow (maybe tourist visa)even if they stop the covid extension?

Please help, losing my mind

Hi. Anyone currently experiencing issues with the online 90 day report? I'm in the right time window, have always reported online succesfully before, no change in circumstances etc. Tried 3 different browsers (with and without flight number) and can't get past the first page. Thanks in advance!
