My DTV just got approved by London Embassy at 19:30 UK time. I applied on 28thbof October. Took two tries but totally worth it. Do I have to keep my EVisa approval letter safe for five years ow will they rely on the stamp I will get on my passport

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently had their Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) approved by the London Embassy and is concerned about the necessity of retaining the EVisa approval letter. Comments from other users clarify that while no visa stamp will be placed in the passport, it is advisable to keep a copy of the approval letter safe as it may be requested at immigration. The only stamp received upon entry will be the one indicating the start of their 180-day stay in Thailand.

no they required proof of a ticket to Thailand. Told me to give them enough time to process the visa so I booked the flight for 12th of December. I had to give a screenshot of my E Ticket and flight details

You don’t receive a visa stamp in your passport, so you will need the letter. Only stamp you will receive is the entry stamp that shows you have 180 days in country. This entry stamp makes no reference to the length of the DTV

No stamp in passport until arrival stating start of you’re 180 days. Yes print and hold copy of evisa as they will likely

Ask to see a copy at immigration
