. With Bangkok bank international transfer is mentioned straight away with swift transfer and with Wise if you choose "Funds for long stay.....". With my Kasikorn account these transfers give some code which with some investigation is also traceable to international transfer. Other banks I don't know. But if you still have to open a bankaccount, I would prefer Bangkok bank for these transfers. Just because it's so easy to see immediately. Although for regular cases I like my Kasikorn more because of a little bit modern approach.

And THAT'S why the moderators always say; Use the correct names !!!! SO many people call a visa exempt entry a visa or visa on arrival or in your case touristvisa.

Also extensions of stay are so many times named visa.

Yep
@Bennett *******
, it's "quite a forrest" indeed. You got a lot of visa and extensions. The best group for visa and extensions is Thai visa advice. So without "and everything else".

Learned a lot by only reading questions and answers.

It sounds nitpicking
@Bennett *******
but with a border run, you buy a visa in the country you run to but with a border hop or border bounce, you stamp out of Thailand, go in the other country and many times you can turn around and stamp in in Thailand again with e.g. visa exempt 30 days (from 1st of oct. 45 days). By land only 2 times allowed. Good luck ! 🤞

And specially beCAUSE it's a bit confusing, you have to prepare carefully. Invitation letter with explaination of your situation and reasons she has to go back. Some kind of guarantee letter of your income and you give her a place to stay and financially support her. Phone number that the Embassy can reach you 24h. Photo's of you both. How older the better. Etc etc. I even then got the tip that she dresses properly going to the Embassy. I know many people here who got refused a Schengen visa and surely not only Polish Embassy. Many refusals happen that people are too quick without 110% preparation. And yes, as said here; main reason is proving she goes back.

Don't know the rule in this case

. As you can read his STV is void and now he is on Covid extension. Really don't know in this case. But OP wants to do a border hop, so at return (after 1st oct.) he gets 45 days visa exempt entry anyway. Also maybe even not needed as
@Steve ******
says.
