I am from California. I went through the US embassy to complete my marriage paperwork. But I know even trying to get my wife to visit my mother is near impossible. Even though I have a good income and my own house.

Those people are a bunch of low paid discontent individuals, who think they are protecting the country with their unintelligent decisions.

US Embassy in BKK is a joke. They don't care about helping anyone.

what do they ask for now for the 60 day visa. It was a pain adding 6 months of bank statement

There are a few ways, bit the CR1 is the way I'm going. It will probably take 10-14 months from the time you submit the endless amount of paperwork

K1 if you are not married in Thailand.
