I heard the requirements can vary by province and also received different answers from so called experts at 2 different lawyer firms

So for Retirement Visa Extension to year #2 does Immigration Petchaburi still want 800,000 Bahts in Thai bank account 3 months prior to the extension or is it different now in my Province?

Also, for over 5 years now, I always rent the same house when am here. so does a 1 year Lease with a signed TM30 or 47 satisfy the Proof of Residence requirement?

Hi! Just wanted to speak of my brief experience at Phetchaburi Immigration in Hua Hin yesterday (Fri).

I’m American on a Non O Visa (supporting my American spouse).

I arrived at 11.30am and there was literally 1person ahead of me. I was out by 12pm with my newly extended visa.

I still needed to have all original supporting documents in order to obtain the visa extension, no exceptions.

I was 2 days in overstay because I was waiting on items from the Thai Consulate to be finalized to support my visa extension.

And lastly, because of the overstay, I still had to pay the fee’s as being on a Non O Visa isn’t included in the ALL VISA AMNESTY.

New Requirement in Phetchaburi Immigration for retirement 1 year extension of stay. Need to get a bank statement showing 3 months money in the bank! Copies of bank book with bank letter not enough now!

I am aware that we need a paper from The Amphur to prove that we are still married. Can someone please tell me what I have to ask for.

This is for my Filipina wife to get an extension of stay based on my retirement extension of stay.

I was unable to get an extension of stay at Phetchaburi immigration because my hotel said they only issue [whatever that address proof is called!] to people staying one week or longer. Is this normal in Thailand? Is there an immigration office where it's easier? I'm Canadian on a 30 day visa exemption, expiring Dec 23. PS I've used up my two visa exempt land entries for 2018. I'm hesitant to fly out and back in after hearing about people getting refused.

Can someone tell me what proof of address my wife can give to Phetchaburi Immigration, when reporting 90 days.

I will show a TOT Bill, but my wife has nothing connected to our address.

Just been told of New Rules at Phetchaburi Immigration for doing the 90 days report.

They need a copy of your residence i.e. Chanotte or rental/Lease agreement.
