almost certainly the case. I think you have to go to your own branch to get the full twelve months.

maybe, but 500 Baht for a years extension, I can live with.

Went to pick up my letter today and received a 200 Baht refund. Apparently I was over charged, should have been 500 Baht, not 700.

Did you fill out the form as per Tod’s previous instructions, ie filling out your name and details only. Or did you include your landlords details.

many thanks Trevor. Would you mind if I printed it off to show my local bank what’s required. Just in case they’re not sure.

Yes , I was a little surprised and disappointed because I’d heard they could do the twelve months deposit printouts. Never mind, at least I’m finding out things before I apply for my first extension using the new method.

Oh how I wish we could go back to the days when I just had to send confirmation of my annual income to the British Embassy, and get a confirmation letter from them. This was readily accepted by immigration. Unfortunately I think we’re paying the price for the unscrupulous agents and the “under the table” visas.

I did enquire at the Bangkok Bank in the CW building. I was told that if this is not your branch they can only do up to three months printouts.
