If you arrive in Thailand on a Non-O ninety day single entry visa, can you apply at immigration for a retirement visa (extension of stay).

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can apply for an Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office if you arrive in Thailand on a Non-O ninety day single entry visa. However, if you're extending based on retirement, you need to provide proof that the required 800,000 baht has been sourced from abroad.

To be clear, the ONLY time that the 800,000 needs to be shown as coming from abroad is when you are trying to convert a SEV into an extension of stay.
