I filed my first TM30 in May at Bangkok CW. My landlord was very cooperative, and gave me all the info’ needed from them . This, together with the form itself, and my required details added up to quite a lot of paperwork. I asked the young lady officer at CW if I needed to produce all this information every time I file a new date, she said yes. I’m due to return to Thailand later this month after a short break in UK, and am sure I’ve seen somewhere that all the landlords info’ is not necessary when filing a TM30 at CW. Has anyone filed their TM30 at CW recently, and how much landlord info’, if any was required. I hold a retirement extension with multiple re-entry permit.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the requirements for filing a TM30 form at the CW in Thailand after having previously submitted extensive documentation, including landlord information. Comments indicate that it may be possible to self-file the TM30 using just a lease and passport, and some suggest that no landlord information is needed for online submissions or app filings. This implies a potential change in the documentation process that could reduce the paperwork burden for expats.
