I’m on a retirement visa, (extension), during this pandemic period I have been doing my ninety day checking on line with no problems. I’m due to apply for my next extension in January, and am assuming/ hoping that with all visa amnesties having ceased I will just have to apply as per previous years before the pandemic caused untold havoc throughout the world.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for renewing a retirement visa extension in Thailand remains unchanged despite the pandemic. Users suggest that no new requirements have been introduced, and applicants can follow the previous procedures. It is advisable to check with the local immigration office for the latest requirements about 30 days before applying.

You are not on amnesty, but an extension of stay based on retirement. You will get a new extension of stay as normal.

I just applied and received my new extension of stay just a month ago just like normal. Nothing was different

There is no change for your annual retirement extension if stay. Just do as you have always done before.

You might want to stop by your immigration office ...thirty days before you make application... and pick up their current list of requirements.

Take care...
