My retirement visa is due for renewal in a couple of weeks. I think I have all information required to apply. However, I have just one query. I live in an apartment, and the contract is in my name. Will a copy of the rental contract be sufficient as proof of residency. Or, will I have to get a residency certificate from my Embassy.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When renewing a retirement visa in Thailand, a copy of your rental contract is generally considered sufficient proof of residency. However, it's advisable to check the latest immigration requirements, as some may prefer or require a residency certificate from your Embassy.
