I rent an apartment in a residential complex. If I understand correctly, the landlord must register my stay here. Can anyone tell me if this is the same as a TM30, and can I just get a copy from the landlord.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, landlords are required to register the stay of foreign tenants with immigration authorities, which involves submitting a TM30 form. This process is different from providing a copy of the TM30; tenants may request a copy of the completed TM30 from their landlord.
