I’ve just done my latest monthly 65k Baht transfer via TransferWise with regard to the renewal of my extension of stay. I did as told previously, and rang TW to make sure that the tag on my account was activated, and the funds transferred vis Bangkok Bank. Thus being designated as an international transfer. I was told by the lady I spoke to that I don’t need to ring every time, as the tag on my account will be automatically activated, and the transfer made through BB. I do hope she’s correct.
I’ve just received an email from TW which some of you may find useful. I think it’s self explanatory.

As others have said, thanks for a very useful pie of information. Particularly apt for me: I just opened an account with Bangkok Bank speicifically for the purpose of transferring retirement funds via transferwise. ^^
