In the next couple of months I’m due to apply for my first extension at Chaengwattana using the depositing of 65k baht per month into my Thai account from my uk account. Has anyone done their first extension using this method, and if so were there any problems.

I've done 2 extensions of a spouse visa, most of the paperwork needed is the same except the obvious stuff. Money is less. If you have all the right income and documents, you'll be fine.Bring all.originals and signed copies of everything. Dont give them an excuse to scrutinize you.

Dress properly, be calm and smile. Seems to go a long way with them.

Also update your bankbook and get front and last pages photocopied the same day you apply. Most of the banks are downstairs at immigration. Do it while you're in queue.

. Don't know. But I got everything I needed from Kasikorn downstairs when I applied and I'm at a different branch too.

Do the printout before you go and just update your bankbook when you get there. Take out 100 baht or something so it registers the date in the bankbook to that day. They will ask you for it to see the balance is still current. Printout is monthly record so that's ok.

thanks for your information. With regard to the printout of all international transfers. Do you know if the Bangkok Bank branch down stairs in CW would do this for me, even if my account is not at this particular branch. I ask, because being in the same building they would obviously know exactly whats required.
