but maby they really do just want overseas money spent in Thailand, but then i would have expected a higher proof of funds amount. i think this proof of funds will be a constant requirement

immigration can do what they like as far as i know. nobody has said what the requirements are for extension, or re-entry yet.

i assume the rules will change and to get an extension or another entry you will need to show another course. a 5 year visa for a 2 week course that can be done on visa exempt just doesnt make sense. but, wait and see!

when i saw someone got the DTV for a 2 week cooking class it made me think it is only a matter of time before it changes. im sure that they will change so they need to rebook a course for each extension or entry.

this works and what i plan to do too, but being non tax resident anywhere gets complicated too when home banks/investment platforms ask

it started this january and spending on your wise card will count as remitted and taxable assuming you are here 180+ days and above the tax free threshhold. will they catch you or chase you? probably not, but you would be liable as far as i know.
