possibly, but until people start to reach the 180 days mark and try this we dont know yet. or have you seen official clarification somewhere?

i think the 1st 180 days to year is covered no problem, but the next year, and 3 after that will be when they start asking for proof you are still doing whatever it was to get the visa

i assume with this method that you need to keep having proof each year and cant just use 6 months/1 year course/treatment and then do nothing for 5 years. you will already have the visa, but on the border official may well ask to see if you are still eligible. just a thought

im planning to use a bank statement with uk address on. i wont be sending a tax return, just proof of payments from usa based company to my uk based paypal

on the online application it doesnt mention tax returns. assume it may help but also think possible without as many nomads are not tax residents/liable to submit return anywhere
