Landed yesterday , long queue at immigration , gave me 45 days stamp , and I’ve got multiple from few months , no problem at all , border bounce can be done in hours , let alone 30 days , usual advice , just have cash ready , outward trip , insurance , and covid 19 stuff just in case things change , I was kinda shocked when io looked at me , took my photo , stamped my passport and sent me on my way , I did however miss my flight to Khon Kaen as took hours to get through immigration , my fault , just me aware immigration can and does get busy

the embassy is closed in Bangkok so everything goes through an agency , can’t remember name but you’ll find out . Then gets sent to British embassy in London , takes time , they have a huge backlog because of Ukrainian applicants and obviously Europe stuff , Dee finally got her visa after they had lost her passport when I was back in Thailand in November , and it runs out in January , but anyway that’s why it takes so long

Done50 minutes in Dubai few years ago , made gate just , no problem really , bag getting transferred , airlines will not let that hold luggage be on that flight with out you , think about that ,! You don’t show and airline has your bag on board , they need to find that bag in there hold and remove it , terrorism stuff , not easy to do that , . Airline will make sure your transferring, signs up everywhere , the only and a major hassle is you’ll be stressed badly , very badly .

Funnily enough the chief of police came out to meet me last month , no farangs in the village lol
