Hello! I am trying to help my mom (Thai citizen, never became a US citizen) move back to Thailand after the passing of my Dad (American). Her passport is expired so I have an appointment for her at the LA Consulate in a few weeks. I THINK I can mostly understand what documents to bring for the appt (thank you Google translate) but I can't tell if they do passport photos while there - or do I need to get her photos done before the appointment? Also, does anyone have recent experience in renewing - wondering how quickly you received your passport in the mail?

Last question, has anyone had their Thai bank set up to receive their US social security deposits? Was it decently easy to set up? I do see a form on the gov website.
