... not a Visa agent for me, but yeah. I am completely aware of the other Visas available to me and the requirements for them and how I can get them. I would not term my actions as "silly" in any light, but one of careful consideration.
exactly this. Heck, even if I am there just for 2 weeks I get the 60 days. Things change and is always good to have extra days in your back pocket with the hassle or extra expense of extensions.
I have had zero issues my last 3 or 4 trips using AIS. I bought the unlimited fasted plan for 30 days. Wicked fast, not throttled and unlimited data. Voice/video calls no problems.
Either through an employer or setup a firm accordingly. Via agents, company setup is about 155,000 baht for setup. 50k or so a year to keep it going. Is not a task for the under prepared. Check out Integrity Legal.
I have been into bikes for the last 40 years. Mostly street and some track. In BKK? Ehh.. mebbie after I lived there after a year or so. Elsewhere I have no problem but I constantly use hard earned skills to avoid accidents. One could be taught but I think Thailand just might be a harsh mistress to a noob. Stick to a car is my recommendation as well. Coincidence dentally a German fellow in the next bungalow has been stuck in Thailand for the last 6 months recovering from a nasty compound leg fracture from a a scooter crash.
