Thinking about moving to live in CNX from Pattaya , but the frequent travel required by the DTV kind of makes me think twice as international flight connections out of CNX are very limited compared to BKK (which is two hours drive from Pattaya), however does anyone in this group been living in CNX on DTV could share some insight or advice based on experience.
I recently posted asking about when leaving Chiang Rai on a flight ticket going abroad and stopping off in Bangkok, where I would go through immigration , whether there was in immigration at CR airport . The conclusion was that there is immigration at CR airport , but I didn't go through immigration at CR . I got stamped out in Bangkok . Had I got stamped out in CR , I could have just walked back into Thailand on arrival . So, I think that direct flights abroad get stamped out in CR and BKK stopover flights get stamped out in BKK
My visa is up at the end of July so I was looking into extending my 180 days but it seems from all the fb groups and reddit its pretty painful and almost like trying to reapply again with all the updated paperwork. So I think people are just opting to leave Thailand and come back again which seems like an easier choice but a bit more expensive. Has anyone done the DTV visa run from Koh Samui to Singapore yet? Every time I go to Samui I just walk off the plane I have never seen the Visa entry area? lol
Hi guys, question, If my stamp expire.. let's say on the 15th, and my flight is on the 16th at 1 am, am i considered overstaying even if i cross the immigration desk on the 15th? Thanks (i guess yes but hoping to be wrong ;)
Question? If I book a flight from Saigon to Krabi with Thai Airways and it says that my bags are transferred at the stopover in Bangkok do I go through customs in Bangkok or Krabi? If I go through customs in Bangkok do I not need all my bags with me? FYI I’m Canadian so I get 30 entry without a visa.
Flying out of Thailand with family on Sunday 12.00 pm, what time do we need to be at airport? I've heard something about 4 hours before, which could be difficult as we live in Hua Hin. We all have Thai passports, if this makes a difference.
