She needs baht or equivalent in cash on her , a return ticket and proof of accommodation on first night , those a legal regulations , then she’ll get visa excempt , never been asked for any of these in last 30 years but that’s the legal requirement , can’t see any problem , just be at survarnabhumi when she arrives , . Immigration are not looking for young ladies going to visit there father .

Hi Brian , just looking at comments first , various agreements , anyhow , as a foreigner you required to carry passport or Id , usual stuff , photo of passport and paper copy in your wallet . I’ve flown numerous times with Bangkok air from samui to Bangkok , always had to show my passport , they insist , never really flown with them elsewhere , flown various other places , many with Thai smile and not really had a problem , used my ID ,

There not robots , you’ll be fine , look up tod daniels advice on this forum , I’m sure I’ve seen something before

Brandon as usual gives good advice , this week someone posted the web link for the online application , maybe find that ? Anyhow this I what I do , and did this week , go with householder to local police station , take house book , your passport and ask for tm officer , usually special division as dealing with foreigners ,takes 10 minutes , it’s free but I make sure there happy and it saves me a couple of hours ride into Khon Kaen and back and a day lost and stressful , . I’m well aware that I could skip the tm30 but I want to keep everything legal as in and out all the time , enjoy your trip
