I spent 4 months in Thailand this year on a visa exeption (January to April)
And I’m planning to go back again. Is it possible for me to travel there again a third time this year in December, or do I have to wait until next year, since I’ve already enterd 2 time this year?
Hi All. I have never had an issue in getting approved my 90 day report, submitted online. But this time, it has been rejected 3 times. I did leave Thailand a month ago, for a two week trip to UAE and Germany. I had landlord resubmit my tm30 since my return, but still rejected. Not sure what I am now doing wrong. Is my entry to Thailand on the TM47, my original arrival date, or is it now the date i returned from my trip abroad? Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks in advance, much appreciated.
I have been in Thailand since 13 th of July . First I got a stay of 60 days visa free exemption and I extended it for another month and on 10 of October I have to leave Thailand. Now I am planning to visit Hanoi for one week starting on October 4th flying from Bangkok. Will I get another 60 days when I come back to Thailand?
I am asking this because some people say it is not possible because the sum of your stays in Thailand cannot be more than 90 days within 6 months?
I would be happy if someone can give me some precise information from first hand who has experienced this.
TM30 updating after leaving/returning to Thailand - my understanding is that it is no longer necessary to have TM30 updated (living in Chiang Mai on a tourist visa) after each short trip out of the country. Could a well-informed person please let me know if this remains the case? (I've searched the group but not found this issue addressed.)
So I already have a 1 year lease on a condo while on my tourist visa. I am heading to Bali to Apply for DTV. What are the chances of being denied? Not let back in 🤔
Have any DTV holders on soft power gone to their home country for the Xmas/holiday season and faced any difficulty when coming back into Thailand? This is obviously a normal reason to exit and re-enter, but if anyone was grilled for "not participating" in their activity please comment with your experience! 🙏
Please clarify a 30 day extension to a 60 day visa exempt visit to Thailand scenario . If I arrive at BKK on October 1 I will be stamped for 60 days until November 29. If I go to Vietnam during this time, and come bacK to BKK and get a 30 day extension until December 29 , can I simply change flights and depart Thailand and go back to America on December 29 with no issues ? Thanks in advance for your advice..k
Hi, one issue which I think no one faced yet. I went to bkk immigration for the 90 day report, I went on 91 or 92 day, as I heard we can go till 1 week after. Also, at this time I was going home on 96th or 97th day, and had my flight booked, so was staying in bkk in hotels for 1 day at a time as left my condo, I got tm 30 from the hotel I was staying at, and they give me the tm30 for 1 day, the immigration supervisor said they cannot do that( i understood they wanted atleast 8-9 days stay more), and asked me no problem you go back since your going home within 7 days after 90 days. Wasted my whole day, but i couldn't do anything after that and came back home. So question is what should I do now, and when I re enter or apply for driving next time can there be a problem, if yes what's the solution
My next border run is coming up. Planning to fly to Vietnam for a week. What's your current experience re-entering to Bangkok? Were you asked for documents or confirmation of your bank balance?
An alternative would be to cross the border into Laos at Nakhon Phanom. Does anyone have experience with this?
Hello! I am currently on a legitimate Muay Thai visa (I go nearly every day) and my girlfriend is teaching here. We are thinking of going home to our home country for a month or so once my Muay Thai visa ends and then applying for the DTV. If we don’t get the DTV what do you think the chances are of being Ley back in just on a tourist so we can like empty our house here and tie up loose ends?
Our visa history is 6 month multiple entry (before DTV) then we went our respective education and woek visas and that’s it, no border runs or anything like that.
