I highly recommend using a visa agent. It saved me a lot of headaches. They had all the paperwork ready. It was amazing. I was able to go open my bank account in a short amount of time other people that were open in bank accounts without all the paperwork that was prepared for me by the Visa agent spent a long time getting the account open.

He needs it in a bank from his country to get the type of visa but once he gets here to get the retirement visa, he needs to have it in a Thai bank. For my marriage visa I have to have it in for two months. I just started that two monthsMonday that’s per my visa agent.

I’m using a Visa agent. There’s no way I ever would’ve figured it out on my own. Last week I had to go to Laos for a week. The visa agent had an office there they were able to get my Non O visa. in four days so I only had to be there for five days.

I had to show three months of bank statements with my balance over $1000.

now I’m back in Thailand and tomorrow I go to the visa agent to fill out a residency document. It’ll take a week to get my residency document back from the government after that I can open a Thai bank account.

I just went through this last week. to get the Non 0 visa I had to leave Thailand and go to Laos. I had to show three months of bank statements with my account balance over $1000. There was a couple days where it dropped below 1000, but they were still able to make it work.

I also had to show that I had the ฿400,000 for my marriage visa in my US bank account

yes since I was already in Thailand, I had to go to Laos to get my typo visa. Actually I’m at the airport. Getting ready to fly back to Thailand right now. It took four days once I was in Laos to get my non 0 visa.

On a sidenote, it was crazy how much food and things in Luang Prabang cost. in the tourist area was five times higher cost than the tourist area of Chiang Mai

check to make sure that if you don’t get the one year extension, they’ll let you keep your bank account. They may lock it.

wow thank you so much. they make it so confusing. But yes, I know that my agent pays the government. It was worth it at the Department to get married because we went past a lot of people that were in line.

I will challenge them on that. It would be nice if I didn’t have to leave Thailand
