Hi everyone, I need some advice on a DTV (Muay Thai) application issue.
I applied through the Thai Embassy in Hong Kong after buying a 6‑month Muay Thai training package, but they replied asking for a portfolio showing at least 6 months of past Muay Thai experience. The issue is that I’m a beginner and applying specifically to learn Muay Thai in Thailand. This gym is legit cuz I am really planning to learn it and chose it based on loads of Google Map reviews.
Has anyone faced this before? How did you handle it as a beginner?
I filled out the application form in the UK, travelled to Europe where I recieved this update. How would you interpret this? Are they saying I can’t travel from where I am (not uk) to Bangkok directly or that I have no choice but to stay where I am and apply at the embassy nearest to me all over again/ go back to the uk and apply from there?
Ideally I don’t want to cancel the application I’ve done but I’m not sure if this is a possibility. I’m very worried about this and would appreciate any help!
I’ve heard and read so many things about dtv. How long does the 15k need to be in my account and is there anything I need to consider coming from someone who’s recently gotten one.
I can’t believe I’m still confused after so much reading and inquiring. I’m in the USA and planning to apply online for a 90-day non O “retirement” visa.
I thought there were no “bank account” requirements to accomplish this first step. I understand the 800,000 baht seasoned for two months in a Thai account for LATER but if proof of funds IS required just to get the non O visa can somebody please clarify that for me? Yes, I can research elsewhere but I prefer hearing the details from people who really know the facts. Thanks.
I have been getting some conflicting information on the Thailand DTV Visa on the requirements for the $14,500+ that’s needs to be in bank. I have been seeing 3 months and 6 months. I will be applying online with one of the US embassy’s but before I apply does anyone know the exact time that money needs to be shown in the bank?
Hi everyone, I looked in the group already but couldn't really find an answer. We're going to apply for a DTV in Jakarta with my family. I know that they are fine with us having 500,000 baht for the whole family and that they want 2 months worth of bank statements. I'm just wondering if the 500,000 baht needs to be in the account for the 2 months or if it's ok if it's there for 3 or 4 weeks 🤔. Just asking because they want the money on a bank account in my name and I only have a wise account, not sure I want that much money on a wise account for so long 😅
