you have a choice... Get ED visa and do 4/week or no ED visa and staying in the country for 1 year long... I guess you are one of who just need an ED but not want to learn thai. 4 times a week... That's 8h/week... If you can't do that you are really s..t with time management.. i was basically devastated when they said i have only 2*2/week... So maybe if you have a business get an elit visa.... Because people like you is the reason why the whole ED visa situation is in deep s..t and i have to wait much longer to mine be done who really want to learn and not just use as an excuse...
What is visitor visa? I never heard about that.. Visa on Arrival, visa exempt or TR visa... No you can't... ED visa not just a stamp.. first you need a contract with your school.. they need an approval letter from The Ministry of Education. That process itself can take 3-4 weeks. After the school or agent (if you using an agent for the process and not the school doing for the whole process for you) will submit the paperwork to the immigration office. And you need a place where you can stay long term because you need TM30, lease agreement... So definitely not a one day process and just a simple stamp in your passport...
Next time do some research... Some school can do for you a visa conversion when you are in the country but still takes time... I don't know how long you are here already...
that's interesting because they have to stamp the overstay in your passport and the paid fine proof. 4 years ago i overstayed 1 day (i didn't realized my slow boat tour have one more night in Thailand because we crossing the border) Maximum you can't understand the stamp because it's in thai. I never, ever heard anyone who's overstayed don't get a stamp....
looks like they have different prices everywhere. But one question how many hours is your course because mine is 90 hours... Maybe your 120-150 in this case make sense why is more expensive
I'm in Thailand too and did mine with them 51k. I guess you did in Bangkok... Everything is more expensive there. I did in Pattaya. 23k language course, 13k visa conversion, 3*5k visa extension fast track. ;)
