I believe I (UK citizen on a 60 day tourist visa exemption) need a TM30 form to get a 30 day extension. The guesthouse I'm in at the moment says they can't give me a TM30. I asked 2 other places nearby: 2 more "sorry, cannot". I want to get it here in Ayuthaya but could re-locate to Bangkok. Would it be easier (or not required) there? Or can I create one myself? My 60d expires 10 days from now, so I'd like to get the extension in the next couple of days. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

American on visa exemption. I'm having issues understanding what a local Muay Thai gym in Ayutthaya needs from me in order to start studying. I can only understand via translated phone call with gym owner so far, afraid information being lost in translation. What I gather is the gym is saying I need a paper from my embassy saying I can study here or something. Im not sure what hes talking about. I thoight i need a form from the gym to take to the local immigration office. Any helpful advice appreciated. Thank you in advance.

American passport holder, here on visa exempt extention. I will be reaching my 180 day limit on tourism related visas for the year in a couple months. I am interested in staying past then to study muay thai. Can someone please explain how I would switch from the visa exempt to a ED visa for muay thai study? And are there general time limits for the program of study for muay thai ED visa? I am looking at local gyms currently. I live in a rural area of Ang Thong province.

I'm currently on visa extension based on employment. My extension is expiring on 30th April. I'm not planning to extend my contract with current employer.

I'm planning to sign an employment contract with new employer on Monday, 2nd May (1st May is Sunday).

I'm married to a Thai and have also half Thai children. Can I use "visiting Thai family extension" to cover the 1 day which I would be in Thailand without visa? After my work permit with new employer is ready. Can I then switch back from "visiting Thai family" to extension based on employment?

EDIT: I would like to add one more detail. I'll be moving from Ayutthaya province to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Not sure if that can be a complication...

Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where we could get a pre departure test in Ayutthaya ?

We are traveling with a young boy and if we can avoid having to go to Bangkok, would be perfect...

Thank you for your help!

Hello

Quick question. If I enter on a tourist visa and plan to stay with wife and her family near Ayutthaya, can I get an extension in Ayutthaya?
