If you have a history of using exempt stamps I’d carry the cash it’s really not that much money but if there asking then there looking for a reason to deny you why not get a proper visa or go home for awhile

you can’t use monthly on your first extension you’ll need the 800k in the bank and you can wait on your money if you have several checks coming in and make one transfer
