I have read in many places, including here, that when I return from a vacation, with a multiply entry permit, and having a Non-O retirement set- up, that I don't need to report to immigration on my return.
Last year I did this, and did not go to immigration until my next 90 day. I was fined 800 THb for not coming the next day to immigration to tell them I was back.
I just found out something yesterday. You have to report to immigration where your staying even on a 30 day holiday.
If you stay at a resort all the time then the hotel records your stay so dont have to do anything. But if like me I'm staying at our home the landlord or my wife has to give you a TM30 or register that your staying there.
Hello lovely people! I just arrived on my 90 day Non-O retirement. Do I need to report to the immigration at this time and/or fill out a form or is that only when I apply for an extension? Also, does my landlord need to till put the TM 30 now? Thanks a bunch!
Hi, we have now received the DTV visa. Do we now need 500 Euros in cash at the entrance? And we have to report to the immigration authority every 90 days? And let it be extended after 180 days? Is this so true? Many thanks for the replies

With the tm30 and tm47 I’m wondering if anyone rents a very cheap place so use then hops around living anywhere? These forms don’t look fun unless you are happy where you are and staying long term.
Have a retirement visa and have left country and returned before 90 day check in. Do I still need to check in with immigration or does reentry count as check in?
Just sharing today’s exprience in Don Mueng. I used the Thai passport lane as I was traveling with my thai wife. I had filled out the DTAC, and handed it to the immigration officer, who proceeded to totally ignored it. He did not want to see it or the barcode, and just went into the passport to look for the visa stamp.
Asking about the education visa, (not sure if that's the correct name), but to learn in Thai language school. My daughter is getting this next week. She's paid for the school and the visa, they now want to take her passport off her to get the visa. Is that normal? I said she should go and collect it herself?
Also, second question, when she has to report every 90 days does she still have to pay more?
