My opinion is those are the ones who never asked advice, did everything wrong when they came, got burned, and now they feel somehow superior because of the limited knowledge they've attained. That said, questions are often vague, repetitive and redundant, and many don't search for answers elsewhere first, so group members get jaded and cynical.

Most had very liberal cancelation policies during the height of the Covid hysteria so I suspect it's "back to normal" for them now, especially since demand is strong.

For example, I recently had Air France backup tickets for later the same day JUST IN CASE my other flight was canceled. It wasn't, I canceled the AF tickets via their app just before boarding, 100% refunded.
