My landlord was not aware that he had to notify immigration and did not declare my arrival . I need to today apply for a non o visa but there is no tm 30 to show . Will I have problems . I intend to stay at the same address

How do the agents for a retirement visa magic 800k in your bank account and provide the visa !? Do they bribe immigration officers is it legit? I understand you could I invest the 800k making good intrest rather than it sat there doing zip.

Under the more part. I have been with my girl now for 9 years this year and want to get married. I’m divorced and from the uk. We usually do all the paperwork on all my visa and reports when in Thailand. She helps with most of it. So can anyone give me a bullet point explanation of the process please.

Obviously people are going to say don’t do it. But I’m also building our home up in the village so to late on that point.

I also have kids and grandchildren in uk who will come and visit the home and spend holidays there. Also my children and grandchildren are  financially taken care of when I pass on.

Hi everyone, looking for advice about getting a child dependent visa.

My daughter is 1, born in Thailand (not Thai). My visa supplied by an international school. Was advised that we didn't need a visa for her as she cannot overstay but the last time we entered we were held up for half an hour and told very sternly by immigration that we must sort out her visa. Apparently she cannot have certain types of visa as she is under 3.

Is there any way of doing this from inside Thailand and we're about nervous about getting back in again! Also the visas my work have suggested are only valid 90 days so don't seem like a straightforward option if we need to keep leaving to renew them.

Hello. May I know if I can request E Visa page for already issued DTV Visa? Because I got mine before they change to E-Visa system. So I only have Visa Stamp in my passport.

What happened is the bank asked me to provide E-Visa page to open bank account (ttb).

Although I had explained why I don’t have E Visa they keep asking for it. The Visa stamp in my passport is not enough for them.

A friend (US passport) has applied for a DTV through the Thai Embassy in the USA. The embassy requested additional info. It now appears that the visa will not be issued before his scheduled arrival time in Bangkok. Shifting his flight will be problematic, and would prefer not to do so unless absolutely necessary. He knows that he can get visa exempt for 60 days, and he also knows that he had to apply for the DTV when he was not in Thailand, but will his arrival in Thailand before the DTV is issued screw up the issuance of the DTV? One guess is that he would have to leave Thailand once the DTV is issued and then come back to activate the visa, but he has been unable to get a clear answer. Any wise guesses or experiences on this front? Thanks in advance.

But it was for the most stupidest reason IMO.

For context I am American and applying under soft power - medical tourism

I was rejected my application… because the doctor wasn’t on the clinic’s website.

And I literally have no idea what to do now.

They were not helpful in literally just calling the clinic or accepting an email from their official company email.

They advised me to come back with the original stamp (which I have but no with me)

And to wait for a different supervisor (no idea why?)

She basically said different supervisors may allow for different things. Which is quite insane for an official application.

None of this is on the website by the way as they didn’t even understand the medical soft power initially.

So the moral of the story is

Take a gamble on the supervisor as to what documents are acceptable

Even stranger is they rejected my bank statement, instead asking me to login to my bank account website and show them the live balance.

My son has lived in the uk 18 years he was born in Thailand but only lived there 3 months, he wants to join British army and they have asked for a letter of liability stating he has no commitment to thia army but when you get intouowih Thai embassy they say all thia men need to go in lucky dip yet the British army say he should be able to get a letter from embassy giving him liability of this army please advise thanks

Re: My "Will" made in Thailand.

A few years ago I made a "Will" leaving my estate (not hugh but very big by Thai standards) to my then Thai G/F...we broke up 4 years ago and I wish to make that Will null and void. I know very little about this subject so would appreciate any inputs.

I do not wish to make another one in Thailand which would cancel out the previous one. The Lawyers office is no longer located where it used to be and I do not know where he moved to.

The Executor was her previous boss and I don't know where he is located either.

If I simply tear up the Will would she be able to trace the Lawyer after my death and have it enforced.

I suppose I could make another Will in my home country in Europe, would that be sufficient.

Any advice would be most welcome.

P.S. She has already gained a lot from me ..A condo, 2 cars and a good bit of money over 12 years together...
