it was 5 days until I got the email back saying they needed me to give them an ‘invitation letter’ from my wife. After I submitted that it was another 5 days until I got the approval. So about 12-13 days including the weekends.
We are moving to the Korat area in June and when I checked on getting 3-4 boxes of stuff shipped from The US to Thailand I could not believe the costs. The airlines charge about $200 per extra piece of luggage or box with up to 50lbs. So we are going to strip it down to the bare minimum. Hope this helps. Good luck!
hey Brandon I wanted to let you know I submitted my Non-O marriage visa application last week. Then today I received an email from The Consulate asking for an “INVITATION LETTER” from the family or spouse, etc, that I am going to stay with in Thailand. Do you know if there is a standard form letter or the best format to reply to increase the chance of them accepting the letter from my wife? Thanks again for all your help!
Btw I did look online to try and answer this question myself and the reason I’m asking is there are 347 different answers out there. 😎🙏😎 Hoping you know the best shot.
yeah we did as well. I have heard of attorneys charging as much as 3-5k or even more. This guy never once asked for more money, at least until my wife was here and he then assisted with the green card application. I think he charged us $450 for that. Good luck!
This is the lawyer we used to get my wife her K-1 visa. They only charged us $1000 US and did a damn fine job. They were responsive to emails and it was so nice having an actual attorney doing the paperwork as opposed to an agent that maybe is doing it correctly………and maybe not. Anyway hope this helps!
