Does a UK/Thai child of a UK father need that UK father to sign his Thai passport renewal? My ex-wife is telling me she needs a signed copy of my UK passport. I'm not comfortable with providing this. I just don't see how the Thai government would require it.

We have the same with our child's passport, he's got a new passport because the one he entered Thailand with has expired. He came with tourist visa but never got any extension, so he's overstaying. We don't know what we should transfer to his new passport and how, would be glad to have a tip

I'm trying to do a renewal for my daughter's British passport but it's asking for supporting documents for proof of address like educational / school records or health card with address on it. Has anyone renewed a child British passport in Bangkok before? Under 11. I'm having a lot of difficulty with the school as they are saying something stupid that they can't provide due to her not attending school during covid but she's been learning online there whenever they offered it

My son was born 10 weeks ago this Friday here in Thailand..I want to get him a British passport and have all the correct documents (my British Birth cert Thai wife passport Birth cert blue book id..Son's Thai Birth cert etc etc) however how do i get a counter signature as I do not know any other eligible UK person here in Thailand only back in UK ...advice please Thanks..stay safe folks

Anyone in this group who has any children that are half Thai, that can advise me on how I go about getting my newborn son a Thai passport. Or know of any other groups. He was born in Thailand and has a Thai birth certificate, but don't know where to go from here.

Slightly off topic but hoping some in this group will have been through the process of getting Childs 1st UK Passport. British Father married to the Thai mother in Thailand.

My question is whether or not the translation of the child's birth certificate must be certified by the Thai MFA (Ministry of foreign affairs)
