@Michelle ***************
If you use mobile banking with the App of your bank account it has to be connected with the Thai mobile no. you have when you opened the account of course. You cannot open a bank acc. in TH without a Thai mobile number and thefore you cannot use your mobile banking app with a foreign sim

I donβ€˜t understand why people are so astonished about this right now? Every customer from the various banks were warned several months ago by mail, on the apps and through media, over and over again. First the issue with sim name and no. to match exactly with the account, then the new face scan to allow inbound transfers > 50k thb per day and so on. Why did so many people ignored these announcements and warnings?

Like in any other country with expats. Just imagine how difficult it is for Thais to go to another country what they have to accomplish until they can enter Western countries. Allway look on both sides. We are foreigners here.

I wish all other banks would do that as well.
