I‘m so fed up with this media panic made up stuff. They are not contolling genuine tourists with only touristic histories in Thailand even if they enter 10 times on visa exemption for a couple of weeks each time and go home. Nobody ever quoted this nonsense. Its all about repeated extensions after 60 days incl. multiple border runs and coming back again for 60 days and applying again for extensions all visible in the passport. Just use common sense and you will find out yourself if you meet the above or not.

The application form is TM7. Normally there are also at least 2 more forms to fill, STM2 and STM9, some other provinces have even more forms; but lucky you, perhaps Khon Kaen IO is really an exemption from all others with that few requirements.

well I don‘t know why ot was different for you, but for the last 3 years in Phuket they only want a screenshot copy of your address which also have the coordinates on it. No drawings and only 1 picture of you outside the house where houseno. is seen. I just did my 3rd EoS few weeks ago.

no you don‘t. Just did my third one year EoS in Phuket and only fresh TM30 was needed.

well I see that you are confused a bit with all this. You will probably need an agent to help you. For a non-O retired visa you don‘t need criminal record and with your tourist visa (or do you mean visa exempt?) you will not be able to open a bank account.

Was the quote from AXA Thailand? I have AXA TH started age 63 (two years ago) with highest coverage incl outpatient and pay 9,000 thb per month.

i live here as well, but I never had the chance to be close friend to any officer although I speak Thai. It probably depends where you live in Thailand and/or have a Thai spouse
