it seems they are filtering out genuine long term visa holders and tourist acct holders... .bkk bank is the only bank that allows tourist to open bank acct(used to be).....it's not only farangs....it affects ppl from neighboring countrys as well

if you dont have a motorcycle licence in your IDP....u will need to take the full course....5hrs of theory lessons at the DLT which after u need to take theory test to pass and after take a practical test at the DLT in order to get your motorcycle licence

why waste time going through all the transactions of hundreds of thousands of foreign accts just blocked them and u will see acct holders rushing to the bank branches

Who is they? Bank clerks ? Agents? Are u opening bank acct on your own? With agents?

practically not really consent to the average tourist like you unless you have business with the immigration like needing a extension of visa, residency cert then u need to show them your TM30

maybe for some....I updated my new phone number at different branch....btw mine is a old acct since 2018.....maybe they are trying to make things difficult for new acct holders or accts opened by agents....

let me share what I have encountered if it's the same device I still can use the app even if I off the thai sim...but if I download the app on another device and put in the thai sim the app blocks me out as it detects a new device.....I have to use bkk atm (in thailand ) with my debit card to request for new login id and after verifying with birthdates the atm will give a new login id on the slip and will sms the pin to the registered number(thai sim) only then i can login to the bank app with the new id and pin on the new phone hope this helps

Don't waste your time visiting immigration office if you do not already have a thai bank acct.....if you do have a thai bank acct u can apply for the nonO 90days at the immigration nearest to your TM30.....beware u need to have more than 15days on your current stamp to apply
