yes I did go to our State Police for fingerprints and submitted it to Thai consulate or embassy in LA told me I needed done by the FBI. Didn't realize it would take close to 2 months when I mailed a check form and fingerprints. Didn't realize I could have done it on line which is much faster. I will be cutting it close as I leave at the end of September. It's been about 4 weeks so far. Hopefully no more snags. 😁

I am applying for the OA with multi entry just waiting on my report from FBI. I would like to know all the documents needed to open a Thai bank account as a US citizen. I do know about the financial requirements. Thanks if anyone has answers?

I used my home in the USA bank was fine showing 3 months worth of income. Is it true you only need to show the nessary income in your bank. Or 800,000 bt. In thai bank. Is the bank account still nessary in Thailand to get 1 year extension? My biggest hold up has been my rap sheet from FBI. They told me it will take 58 days. Then later found out I could have submitted it online. Which would have taken less than a week.

Be sure to apply for a criminal background. Check through the FBI fingerprint included. With a check for $18. That was my biggest holdup. Just Google FBI rap sheet.
