Hi, apologies in advance for the post, as I've seen multiple similar questions on google search linking to this group, but have been unable to see the comments.

I'm wondering whether it's possible to return to Thailand under visa exemption while waiting for my DTV to be approved. I've already been asked to submit additional documents (passport pages, proof of stay outside of TH, bank/income statements, etc).

Additionally, was wondering if anyone applyed for the DTV evisa system in Malaysia, how long the application took for approval? Thanks!

If I fly to Hanoi Vietnam after 80 days in Thailand (I got 60+30 days visa exemption with a Canadian passport), can I fly back to Thailand on the same day and get another 60 days visa exemption? Or do I need to stay a few nights in Vietnam? Thanks 🙏

Does anyone know if I can extend my Thai visa exemption (60 days) in the Trang immigration office? I don't really want to go up to BKK. If I can, what do I need for this, and how far in advance can I extend it? thanks

Our departure date is early January 2025. A couple of questions. I am Canadian and my wife is Indonesian. I believe we are both Visa exempt for Thailand. Is this correct? Do they still give immigration and customs documents on the plane prior to landing at Suvarnabhumi? The reason I ask is because Laos has visa on arrival for me, she is exempt. And for Cambodia I have to do e-visa in advance and arrival card 7 days prior to arrival. These are our next destination after 10 days in Thailand. Just making sure I can arrive in Bangkok and just do it the old fashioned way, filling out documents on the plane. No e-visa required in advance? Also, we have to re-enter Thailand a second time for four days. No problem with one re-entry?

Hello.

Applied for NON O (kids) from London last Tuesday. Normally it's very quick but this time I'm still waiting. I fly on Sunday.

Any ideas if I arrive in Thai on a visa exemption while waiting for my NON O to be approved then exit and re-enter on NON O once approved will be ok? Asking as though I applied in London approval might not get done until I'm in Thai... Thanks

Looking for some clarity on the 60 day rule on a VE flying from the UK, I read somewhere that you can now only get 2 of these per Calendar Year, whereby with the previous 30 Day VE, there was no real limit when flying in, though liable for being questioned and possible refused entry. Can someone please clarify what the rules are and is my interpretation right? TIA
