Wire transfer is normally different, and it's highly likely you are mistaken. Anyone purchasing a house or even a car your bank wouldn't do ??? You maybe want to speak to someone at the bank and ask specifically about wire transfer. Any house purchase, nobody is going to be ok with 20 or 30 separate transfers.

Visa is based on the country your visa is from. Thailand dtv should have nothing to do with it

Charles Bennett I'm not sure that is correct. As long as you maintain a valid us address and bank account, and they're aware you reside in Thailand, they don't care where it's deposited.

you'd be way better off, giving an hint at exactly where in Thailand, it's a big place, and not all agencies cover everywhere... also Non-O and WP are not exactly compatible. Very few foreigners would qualify for a Thai WP, please read up on the subject, most types of jobs are strictly prohibited for foreigners.

Unless it's a really legit company, don't do it. They'll basically take the land and house, you just lost the entire investment, and you're in some serious legal issues. And no you don't get your money back either.

Don't think they're saying you can't travel around, but you do have to have a residence you call home. Also don't think they're saying that you can't change your residence, but that requires doing the appropriate paperwork for immigration when you do. To be evasive when asked by immigration, sure that going to not go well.
