Hello, I hope you can help me. I got my visa extended for a month and need to extend my travel insurance, for medical cover and traveling home cover. Could you recommend me some reliable insurance company please?

The one I used before needed me to get covered before traveling to Thailand.

Contact the existing travel insurance company and ask if they will do an extension. We had a policy for two months in Thailand late last year and had no problems extending a further 30 days with the same company. One phone call and then filled out a form they emailed us - done - no problems.....

You can not purchase a travel insurance from Thailand when you are here that covers you, so you need to check if you can extend with your ins company from in your homeland

Have you ask you present holiday insurance if you can extend another month l did this 2 weeks ago while l'm here in Thailand. I emailed them first and unfortunately had to phone them in the UK but they extended from 2 months to 3. It worth a try.
