Hi everyone! Has anyone here applied for a Japanese tourist visa from Thailand while on a DTV? I'm a Russian citizen travelling with my American husband and we're planning to get the DTV as our base. Wondering if Russian nationals on a DTV (as a dependent spouse) can apply for a Japanese visa in Thailand without going back to their home country. Any experience or advice would be hugely appreciated! 🫶

Visa is based on the country your visa is from. Thailand dtv should have nothing to do with it

Japan has specific rules for every Country on the planet, in terms of entering the country….in my case with a US passport, they stamped me in for 90 days….my Thai wife was stamped in for 30 days….
